CANCELLATION POLICY
You may transfer your registration at any time at no cost. Cancellations received in writing by November 3 will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations after this date cannot be refunded.

Wednesday, December 11
Tour Day!
Attendees can participate in both tours, if desired. You can sign up for one or both tours when you register.
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Breakfast at hotel
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Tour of Bureau of Reclamation’s Shasta Dam
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch at hotel
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Tour of Pit 1 Hydroelectric Project, hosted by Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E)
For the tours, you’ll need to wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and long pants. Safety and protective gear will be provided by the project owners. The weather is predicted to be clear and cold. Plan to dress warmly – we will be outside.
Note: if you are attending the Pit 1 tour and are a foreign national, please remember to bring your passport to present during the tour.
Tour of Bureau of Reclamation’s Shasta Dam
The tour will include a walk across the top of the dam, an elevator ride down 400 feet, and a short walk through the dam to a stunning view of the spillway. A tour of the Shasta Powerplant is included. Reclamation guides share the rich history of Shasta Dam, how it was built, and the important role it plays in the Central Valley Project.
