Jeff Leahey joined NHA in June 2002 and was promoted to his current position in November 2013. Jeff monitors legislative, regulatory and legal issues affecting the hydro industry and represents the association before Congress, FERC and the federal resource agencies. Jeff also provides staff support to NHA’s various committees and councils.
Jeff is an attorney, licensed to practice in Massachusetts. He graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 1999. He is also a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., where he received his BA in biology and political science.
