Hydropower System Principles Training
Although there are various training offerings available in the industry covering different aspects of hydropower, there does not exist an all-encompassing option looking at the full system of hydropower production…until now! Designed and tested by more than 50 experts, we called on our members and industry partners to offer their best in-class expertise to train hydropower professionals.

The Hydro Academy will be offering another Full Course cohort starting in November – 40 hours of Professional Development Hours (broken up over eight months) getting to know all aspects of the hydropower industry.

Next Course Starting in November 2026
NOVEMBER COHORT – meeting for 5 hours at a time, once a month for eight consecutive months (usually third Thursday of each month), starting November 19, 2026.
Earn an NHA Certification by completing the full Course (40 hours of content).
