Brittney May

Brittney May is NHA’s Legislative Affairs Manager, assisting with the Legislative Affairs Committee and leading the Pumped Storage Development Council. Brittney graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on Science, Technology, and the Environment. She recently graduated with her Master’s in International Affairs with an emphasis on Energy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, Italy. While in graduate school, Brittney was a Teaching Assistant for the Master’s in Sustainable Energy (MASE) Program under Dr. Johannes Urpelainen at Johns Hopkins.

 

Prior to graduate school, Brittney spent two years at the U.S. Department of State, in the offices of the White House Liaison and Counselor to the Secretary. She also spent three and a half years working for various Congressional Members and Committees at the U.S. House of Representatives.

Brittney resides in Alexandria, VA with her dog and spends her free time studying Italian and learning about wine.
