Knight Piésold Canada Marks Ninth Year as a Top Employer in British Columbia

February 19, 2021, Vancouver, BC, CanadaKnight Piésold Canada has been named a top employer in British Columbia, marking the ninth year that the company has been awarded this special designation. BC’s Top Employers for 2021 included industry-leading employers in the province offering outstanding workplaces with strong and comprehensive pandemic response plans to keep employees safe.

“Being recognized as a top employer in the province for the ninth year is a remarkable accomplishment, amidst challenges brought about by the pandemic. Our ongoing success is a result of our team’s incredible resilience and commitment in this challenging time,” said Ken Embree, President of Knight Piésold Canada. “Our team members, from both offices in Vancouver and North Bay, have demonstrated agility in transitioning workspaces either in the office or at home and shown strong teamwork to support each other, our clients, and surrounding communities.”

“This year marks our 46th year operating in the province and 100th year globally. We have reached our centennial milestone thanks to our employees—who are at the heart of our success,” added Embree. “As we journey onwards, we continue to do our utmost to empower our employees to help them reach the top. We continue to foster a workplace where we celebrate strengths and unique talents and encourage growth, so our employees can be their best in supporting our clients and achieving extraordinary things.”

BC's Top Employers is an annual competition run by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Employers throughout the province were evaluated using eight criteria: (1) physical workplace; (2) work atmosphere and social; (3) health, financial, and family benefits; (4) vacation and time off; (5) employee communications; (6) performance management; (7) training and skills development; and (8) community involvement. Employers were compared to other organizations in their industry to determine which offered the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
