The National Hydropower Association (NHA) understands the importance of hydropower’s role as the backbone of the grid, recognizing that hydro’s many benefits wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and expertise of water power professional.
Currently, one of the largest challenges in the water power industry is finding employees to fill necessary roles.
In response to industry staffing needs, NHA created the new NHA Career Center, which is open to employers, and job seekers.
Employers have access to a host of tools, which allow for resume searches, bulk job postings, the creation of brand profiles, and application management; employers wo are member organizations of NHA receive discounted pricing packages for services.
The NHA Career Center is a one-stop shop for prospective employee and employer needs. With assets aimed to help individuals and employers hone their talents, the site offers a wealth of options for those looking to find work both inside and outside the water power field.
Yet, the NHA Career Center is more than a place for job searches and applications; the site provides professional services to help potential employees, employers, and executives with building and managing their careers. OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY FEDERAL LAYOFFS
We know that in the wake of federal layoffs, many workers now find themselves on the job market. Meanwhile, a host of innovative water power companies are looking to fill a variety of positions at all experience and skill levels. That’s why we encourage displaced federal workers looking for new opportunities to upload their resume for free on NHA’s website.
Instructions are below:
1. Click on this link: https://lnkd.in/ev_fzNEK; you will see a log-in screen.
2. Type in your email address as your User Name.
3. Click “Forgot Password” to get instructions on your password.
4. If the above does not work, you’ll need to create a new profile. Click this link to create a profile: https://lnkd.in/euyGcyah (Creating a profile is free).
5. Once logged in to the Career Center, click on the Job Seekers button (top right of the screen).
6. You’ll get to a screen that says: “Your Profile” – click on that.
7. Click on “Edit Profile.”
8. The first step should be uploading your resume. If you are not directed to the “Upload Your Resume section,” scroll down to the bottom and click on “Previous Step.”
