With nine months to go until Clean Currents 2023 descends on Cincinnati, Ohio, from October 10-13, 152 companies and organizations have already committed to exhibiting at the conference + tradeshow.

Clean Currents, the definitive “for the industry, by the industry” waterpower event, has secured Duke Energy, American Municipal Power, and the City of Hamilton as exclusive host utilities.

Owned by the National Hydropower Association (NHA), Clean Currents is the industry event for waterpower, bringing together professionals from conventional hydropower, pumped storage, small hydro, and marine energy to advance the role waterpower plays in the renewable energy future.

Exhibiting companies and organizations at Clean Currents can tap into a professional network, gaining access to the waterpower industry’s top minds. Set against the backdrop of the conference + tradeshow, exhibitors can learn while they work, develop connections, and acquire new business at Clean Currents 2023.

WHO IS EXHIBITING AT CLEAN CURRENTS?

The 152 companies and organizations exhibiting at Clean Currents 2023 represent a wide swath of the waterpower industry. Current exhibitors fall into the following categories:

  • Manufacturers
  • Product Suppliers
  • Service Suppliers
  • Construction Firms
  • Consultants
  • Federal government agencies

While Clean Currents takes place in the United States, a growing international cohort has gravitated to the event. Currently, 23 international businesses and organizations have signed up to exhibit.

With companies and organizations from around the world drawn to the opportunity of Clean Currents, the objectives vary. Take Jeff Theo, Vice President of Business Development at Vulcan Painters, who spoke about the value of Clean Currents: “We never know where our next opportunity will come from but based on our experience exhibiting at Clean Currents twice, it will most likely come from an NHA event.”

Fares Abdo, Business Development and Technical Support at Morgan Corp, provided insight into Morgan Corp’s experience at Clean Currents:

“We exhibited at the 1st Clean Currents 2021 conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The opportunities to network, connect with many of our valuable clients, and learn about new technologies and upcoming projects exceeded our expectations. We also exhibited at Clean Currents 2022 in Sacramento, California. Although the venue was far from our area of operations, meeting with many of our clients and keeping abreast of what is going on in the hydro world were well worth the efforts.”
