The National Hydropower Association (NHA) is pleased to announce Preston Gillespie’s participation in Clean Currents as a keynote speaker during the conference + tradeshow’s plenary sessions.

In his role as Executive Vice President, Chief Generation Officer, and Enterprise Operational Excellence, Gillespie taps into over 35 years of experience in the energy field to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Duke Energy’s fleet of nuclear, natural gas, hydro, solar, and coal units with a generating capacity of over 50,000 megawatts.

During his time at Duke Energy, Preston Gillespie has also served as Chief Nuclear Officer, a role where he was responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the nation’s largest regulated nuclear generating fleet.

Gillespie’s knowledge of the U.S. energy landscape, and more than three decades of experience in the nuclear industry, will offer compelling insights when the waterpower industry meets for Clean Currents in Cincinnati, Ohio, from October 10-13.
