Why Clean Currents Will Still Be In Person, In October

Designed by the industry, for the industry, Clean Currents is bringing the tools you need for a successful 2022 under one roof. We know your needs, challenges, and aspirations, and we have created a conference to help you achieve.
CC: Central and the Innovation Power House are designed to introduce you to the world of possibilities– both inside waterpower and from outside industries to make your plant leaner, meaner, and greener.
The Power House is where you get to be a part of the future of waterpower. We’ve developed a fun and innovative way to generate fresh ideas for next-generation research, development, and deployment. Industry and government can use the generated ideas to help shape priorities and funding for the future.

Billions of dollars in investment will be spent on waterpower in the coming years. Knowing who is spending and where — or what type of projects they’re looking for — helps you design the future.

Waterpower is a Safety-first Industry, and COVID Hasn’t Changed That
Ensuring that Clean Currents is the safest possible event is our top priority as we take guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) as well as local government requirements and guidance.
To that end, the NHA team and the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta have initiated numerous safety measures (all outlined on our COVID-19 guidance page).
Those measures include:
- Clean Currents will feature socially distanced room setups and will practice social distancing throughout our conference area.
- The proper cleaning protocols, disinfection techniques, and work practices in place to combat biohazards and infectious disease.
- Highly informed cleaning professionals who are trained for outbreak and infectious disease preparation and response.
- NHA will provide each attendee with an NHA-branded mask to wear while indoors (in compliance with Atlanta City ordinance)
The Georgia World Congress Center announced in June that it was the first convention center in the United States to achieve Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR facility accreditation.
NHA looks forward to the upcoming Clean Currents Conference + Tradeshow at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA on October 18-22, 2021.
