The 2024 Hydropower Collegiate Competition (HCC) concluded today at NHA and MHUG's Midwest Regional Meeting! Marking the culmination of months of work, the HCC finale in Des Moines, Iowa, was a celebration of inspiring student-driven efforts to meet the challenges facing #hydropower. The results of the HCC are as follows: First Overall: Northern Arizona University Second Overall: The Johns Hopkins University Third Overall: California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo Design Challenge: Northern Arizona University Siting Challenge: Northern Arizona University Community Connections Challenge: A tie between Northern Arizona University & The Johns Hopkins University Best Poster: University of North Florida Rising to the Challenge Recognition: University of Michigan Most Energized Recognition: Texas Tech University NHA wants to congratulate all the teams who participated in the HCC, faculty advisors/coaches, water power industry members & organizations, Federal agencies, and national labs for the ongoing support of critical competitions like the HCC.
