Underwater Construction Corporation

Underwater Construction Corporation (UCC) is a proud National Hydropower Association (NHA) member with a long history of supporting the industry with commercial diving and ROV services.

UCC’s founding members were innovators in the hydropower industry, dating back to the 1960s when they performed the first commercial saturation deep dives at Smith Mountain Dam in Virginia.

Today, UCC is recognized as one of North America’s largest inland commercial diving companies, with a long and mutually beneficial relationship with many NHA member renewable energy producers.

UCC employs more than 220 commercial divers based in strategic locations to support our hydropower customers: Connecticut, Michigan, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Texas, South Carolina, and our most recent office location, Maryland.

UCC looks forward to collaboratively working with the NHA’s members and understands that the United States’ essential, carbon-free, renewable energy resource is waterpower, and maintaining these facilities is of vital national importance.
