9.18.19 WIC/DOE’s Hydropower Webinar Series: Low-Head Hydropower Turbine and Generator System Prototype

September 18th - September 18th

NHA members, the Waterpower Innovation Council has joined with the DOE in presenting the Department of Energy’s Hydropower R&D Highlights Webinar Series. Our next webinar presents Rapidly Deployable, Advanced, Integrated Low-Head Hydropower Turbine and Generator System Prototype with Arnie Fontaine of Pennsylvania State University on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In summary, Mr. Fontaine will present on the development and demonstration of a low-head hydropower turbine and generator system prototype that combines lightweight, corrosion-resistant metallic components that can be produced through an additive manufacturing process integrated with a health monitoring system and condition-based maintenance. This system will help to identify maintenance needs and facilitate improved operation.

Please be sure to join us in viewing this informative presentation!

Note: This webinar series is only available to NHA members. Information to access the webinar is mailed to NHA members.
