NHA has negotiated the discounted room rate of $179 plus tax. Complimentary parking is included. The rate will be available until June 24 or the room block is full, whichever comes first.

 

 

Getting to Springfield, Massachusetts

The closest airport to the Marriott Springfield Downtown is Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, Connecticut, about 25 minutes away (20 miles) by car depending on traffic.

Another airport option is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston, Massachusetts. This airport has more flight options, but it is at least 90 minutes away (93 miles) from the hotel by car.

There is no public transportation to Springfield, Massachusetts from either airport.

Tour Information

 

About

After a quick stop at the visitor center, attendees will tour the Upper Reservoir and the Powerhouse at Northfield Mountain!

The maximum capacity for this tour is 64 people. Due to security protocol, the cut-off date to register for this event is Thursday, July 20.

 

Transportation

A bus will be provided. Attendees are not permitted to drive themselves to the tour. Attendees will meet in the lobby of the Marriott Springfield Downtown.

Security

Non-U.S. citizens are permitted on the tour.

Personal Belongings: Please leave all bags, purses, backpacks, etc. on the bus.

Photography: Photos are permitted with a few exceptions: no photos in the control room and no photos of FirstLight employees. Please follow the directions of the tour guide with regards to taking photos.

 

Dress Code

Pants and closed-toe shoes are required. No shorts, skirts, or capris.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): FirstLight Power will provide hard hats and safety glasses for use on-site. Attendees are welcome to bring their own PPE if they so desire.
