NWHA has provided a regional voice for the hydropower industry since 1981, covering the states of AK, ID, MT, OR, WA and northern CA, as well as areas of Western Canada. Four events each year focus on regional implementation of policy; operation and maintenance; development of new small hydro, conventional hydro and pumped storage opportunities; relicensing; and other issues. The non-profit trade association represents utility and non-utility generators, consultants, manufacturers and other industry participants.
