Mavel, a.s. is a Czech Republic based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of Kaplan, Francis, Pelton and Cross-flow turbines for power plants from 2 kW to 20 MW.
The company was founded in 1990 and has utilized its historic Czech engineering expertise to build an installed base of almost 200 Mavel turbines operating throughout the world. In 2002, Mavel extended its capabilities through the establishment of a North American Sales Office.
