The National Hydropower Association hosted its 2008 Southeast Regional Meeting in Birmingham, AL on Wednesday, December 3rd. The event featured owners and operators of hydro projects as well as service and equipment providers. Topics covered included drought management and water supply, relicensing, settlement agreements and compliance and Operation and Maintenance issues.

October 5-8, 2008 - NHA Hydraulic Power Committee 2008 Fall Meeting - Lancaster, PA
The National Hydropower Association's Hydraulic Power Committee (HPC) held its annual Fall Meeting at the Eden Host Resort in Lancaster, PA. The fall meeting provided a secure forum for hydro owners and operators to exchange information and share ideas relating to the technical aspects of operating hydroelectric projects. Members explored new and improved business strategies as they related to construction, engineering, environment, land use, licensing, maintenance, operations, economic utilization, safety and security. Membership to the HPC is free to NHA members.
