Joining Forces – NHA calls upon the Hydropower Industry to hire Veterans

Joining Forces is an effort launched by First Lady Michelle Obama, and Dr. Jill Biden that calls on all Americans to ensure that military service members, veterans and their families have the tools they need to succeed when re-entering the U.S. job market.  Several NHA member companies are participating in this program.

Highlights of the program include:

  • Bringing attention to the unique needs and strength of America’s military families
  • Inspiring, educating, and sparking action from all sectors of our society to ensure veterans and military families have the opportunities, resources, and support they have earned
  • Showcasing the skills, experience, and dedication of America’s veterans and military spouses to strengthen our nation’s communities
  • Encouraging greater connections between the American public and the military
