Environmental Excellence Awards
In 2004 the Outstanding Stewardship of America’s Rivers project has singled out ten hydroelectric projects for providing clean renewable energy and being excellent stewards of the environment while providing clean, reliable and renewable energy. These projects have done everything from improving water quality to restoring fisheries and protecting endangered species.
